NORTH ROBINSON—Colonel Crawford Local Schools held their monthly board of education meeting on Monday night.

Superintendent Todd Martin informed the board that an all-call went out tonight that informed Colonel Crawford families that he is in quarantine due to contact with a family member who tested positive for the virus.

He said that he has not been near any other staff members or students, so there should be no risk to anyone else.

Due to the possible influx in cases, the whole school district will participate in remote learning from December 1 through December 4. All of the handicapped students from all grade levels will still have in-person classes while the others are online.

The current plan is to have all students return to do in-person learning on December 7. That call will officially be made closer to that date.

Treasurer Vickey Stump gave the five-year forecast and said that it looks good and that the school’s revenues are growing. The state funding accounts for approximately 33 percent of the school’s revenue, real estate is about 21 percent, all other revenue is 19 percent, and income taxes are about 15 percent.

At the meeting, board members were informed that there was lighting added to the North building’s parking lot, and the blacktop around the stadium was sealed and repainted.

The next board meeting is December 21 at 7 p.m.
