BUCYRUS—Several defendants were arraigned via video from the Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
Christina Hildreth, 48, of Bucyrus was indicted on one count of failure to comply, a felony of the third degree punishable with up to 36 months in prison and one count of possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison. According to prosecutor Matt Crall, Hildreth led police on a high speed chase where she ran at least 15 stop signs and hit speeds between 80 and 100 miles per hour on Lincoln Highway.
Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on her behalf. He appointed Andrew Motter to represent Hildreth. Bond was set at $150,000.00.
Robert Chavis, 30, of Mansfield was indicted on one count of tampering evidence, a third degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. According to allegations, Chavis tried to dispose of a shampoo bottle full of urine he intended to use for a drug screen. Chavis also faces a community control violation.
Judge Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Chavis’ behalf. Bond was set at $75,000.00. Attorney Geoff Stoll was appointed to represent Chavis.
Michael Harvey, 37, of Galion was indicted on one count of trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison, two counts of possession of drugs, both fifth degree felonies and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison and one count of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree punishable with up to 30 days in jail. Harvey also faces an upcoming community control violation. Judge Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Harvey. Attorney Tom Nicholson was appointed to represent him. Bond was set at $100,000.00.
Evan Holloway, 19, of Galion was indicted on two counts of vandalism, each fifth-degree felonies and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison.
According to allegations, Holloway lost control and destroyed his mother’s home where he was staying. Damage to the home was approximately $4200.00. Holloway’s mother asked police to have her son’s mental health evaluated. Judge Leuthold entered a not guilty on Holloway’s behalf. He set bond at $25,000.00 and ordered Holloway to have no contact with his mother, the victim. Attorney Neil Huggins was appointed to represent Holloway.
Leanza Fletcher, 32, of Attica was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison, one count of drug abuse instrument (syringe), a misdemeanor of the second degree punishable with up to 90 days in jail and drug paraphernalia (glass pipe), a misdemeanor of the 4th degree punishable with up to 30 days in jail.
According to allegations Fletcher was found passed out on a road. Judge Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on her behalf. Bond was continued at $25,000.00. Leuthold appointed attorney Tani Eyer to represent Fletcher.
Martin Wyeth, 47, of Bucyrus was indicted on one count of possession of drugs (meth), a fifth degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison, one count of drug paraphernalia a misdemeanor of the fourth degree punishable with up to 30 days in jail and one count of possession of marijuana punishable with a $150.00 fine.
Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Wyeth’s behalf. Bond was set at $50,000.00. Attorney Andrew Motter was appointed to represent him.
Noah Watkins, 45, of Galion was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison, drug abuse instruments a misdemeanor of the second degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 90 days in jail and drug paraphernalia (two glass pipes), a 4th degree punishable with up to 30 days in jail.
Judge Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Watkins’ behalf. Bond was set at $50,000.00. Attorney Brian Gernert was appointed to represent him.
Charles Irwin, 52, of Bucyrus was indicted on five counts of possession of drugs, each a fifth degree felony and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Irwin is currently on community control after he avoided prison on a technicality in April when he pled guilty to five counts aggravated trafficking in drugs and was placed on community control.
Judge Sean Leuthold set bond at $300,000.00. Irwin has retained attorney Ed Bibler to represent him.
