BUCYRUS―A Bucyrus man was arrested in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street after Bucyrus Police were called to investigate a domestic violence incident earlier in the day on Wednesday.

At 4:58 p.m., Joshua Osborne was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:15 a.m.-Officers took a report of a possible breaking and entering in the 200 block of East Rensselaer Street.

8:50 a.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue was investigated involving a man who was reportedly throwing objects.

9:42 a.m.-Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of Marion Road and Southern Avenue. The car was towed from the area.

9:58 a.m.-A report of a deer running into a window at the Car Guys, 1780 E. Mansfield St., was taken. The deer had fled from the scene.

10:29 a.m.-Officers assisted AEP with traffic control at the intersection of Beal and South Sandusky Avenues.

10:55 a.m.-A person accused of loitering was asked to leave a business in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue The individual was reading all the papers without buying one.

11:36 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 600 block of West Warren Street.

1:57 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

2:15 p.m.-A report of a sick skunk on Prospect Street was investigated. The animal was dispatched.

6:29 p.m.- A male was warned for trespassing in the 200 block of East Mary Street. A man was sleeping in a restroom stall and was trespassed from the property.

8:21 p.m.-A report of vandalism was taken in the area of Brentwood Drive. The driver of a small pickup truck was reportedly operating foolishly and without regard in the vicinity of the friendship bridge. The vehicle was gone from the area.

11:58 p.m.-Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A person was taken to the hospital regarding a drug abuse issue.

5:54 a.m.-A disturbance in the alleyway in the 500 block of East Charles Street was investigated. A person was heard punching a car window and yelling. No damage was reported.

6:29 a.m.-A 9-1-1 hang-up call was investigated in the area of Dean Street and Schaber Avenue. No incident was located.
