BUCYRUS — One person was transported for injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the crash on Ohio 4 near its intersection with Ohio 294 shortly after 7 a.m.
According to Crawford County Sheriff Deputies on the scene, a female was driving a red Chevrolet Trax LT southbound on Ohio 4 while another female driver was driving a dark-in-color Honda Accord northbound on Ohio 4.
Preliminary investigations showed the driver of the Accord traveled left of center and struck the Trax LT, sending the Trax LT off the right side of the road causing it to roll over coming to a stop on the passenger side of the vehicle.

The driver-side door of the Trax LT was removed from the vehicle and the driver was removed and transported by Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service to Bucyrus Community Hospital for unknown injuries.
She was reportedly wearing her seat belt and the airbags in the vehicle deployed.
The driver of the Accord was not transported for injuries.
There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

Members of the Bucyrus Township, Dallas Township and Whetstone Township, Lykens Township and Liberty Township fire departments; the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office; Ohio State Highway Patrol and Portsmouth EAS responded to the crash.
The Trax LT was towed from the scene by Bloomfield Towing.
Traffic control was conducted by the responding agencies.
Additional identifying information was not being released by law enforcement at the time of the investigation but is expected to be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
Charges are pending as the crash remains under investigation.
