The arena at Pioneer Career and Technology Center will be packed with excited Pioneer students and proud family members tomorrow, May 1, for the annual honors night. During the event, students are recognized for achieving, performing and succeeding at extraordinary levels. This year’s event will mark the school’s 45th anniversary providing quality education to area students in over 30 career tech programs.

Scholarships are awarded to many students for continuing education as well as special awards presented Pioneer students.

A major highlight of the evening is always the announcement of the Byron H. Carmean Award winner. This year’s deserving nominees for this award include seniors:

  •         Raven Crawford, Galion, Carpentry
  •         Kilee Kimmel, Buckeye Central, Exercise Science & Sports Medicine
  •         Nickalous McPherson, Shelby, CAD
  •         Michael Miller, Willard, Welding
