Seventeen Bucyrus students received commendations during the regular Board of Education meeting April 25. Students receiving commendations included:

The students’ artwork was selected by Bucyrus art teachers Mr. Michael Striker, Mr. Zac Bauer and Mrs. Doris Prenger to be displayed in the main hallway of the Lincoln Administrative Building for a three-month period.

“We are very fortunate to have a strong visual arts program in our district,” Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. “We have many students with phenomenal artistic abilities, and it is a great pleasure for us to be able to display their works in our administrative offices.”
