BUCYRUS (Crawford County Now) — Heather McLaughlin outlasted Schelby Gabel, 1,000-885 to win the 58th Ladies Invitational Bowling Tournament at Suburban Lanes Saturday.
McLaughlin came out of the winners’ bracket while Gabel survived the losers’ bracket.
It was the fifth Invitational title for McLaughlin — her first since 2022 — while Gabel was making just her third tournament appearance.
The tournament was comprised of the top 16 bowlers by average in a sanctioned league. Matches used handicaps to balance the field.
