They say that all good things must come to an end, and on Friday night Colonel Crawford’s dreams of a perfect season came to a screeching halt at of Upper Sandusky.

The Rams grounded the Eagles’ offense limiting them to single digits in the first three quarters on their way to a 51-39 victory.

Todd Entenmann led the Eagles with 21 points.

While the loss is the Eagles’ first on the season they wrapped up the inaugural N-10 championship when they defeated Buckeye Central 44 to 42 Monday night.

Seth Frey led the Rams’ offensive attack with 14 points and Cody Clifford contributed 12.

With the loss Col. Crawford drops to 20-1 on the season with a 16-1 N-10 record. Upper Sandusky improves to 15-6 and 13-4 in league play.

Col. Crawford closes out the season next Friday when they host Carey.

Buckeye Central boys basketball 3Buckeye Central found themselves down by 2 at the end of the first quarter against Wynford at home Friday night, but the Bucks outscored Wynford 14 to 7 in the second quarter on the way to a 52 to 31 victory.

The Bucks were led by Austin Wurm’s 21 points. Grant Loy added 14 points.

With the victory Buckeye Central improves to 13 and 7 on the season with an 11 and 5 record in league play.

Wynford was led by Braxton Tea’s 7 points.

The loss drops Wynford to 10 and 9 on the season with a 9 and 7 N-10 record.

Bucyrus improved to 11 and 8 on the season after handing Ridgedale a 68 to 54 loss.

Bucyrus had 4 players in double figures for the game with Dalion King leading the way with 17 points. D.J. Dagher contributed 15 points, Austin Williams added 14 points, and Cole Hollis chipped in 11 for the Redmen’s 9th win in the N-10 season.

Ridgedale had 3 players reach double figures on the night with Monroe Britton and Preston Burton each scoring 13 points, and Hunter Boyd adding 10 points to the effort.
With the loss The Rockets drop to 4 and 16 on the season and 4 and 13 in league play.

Coming off a 13 and 3 run in the second period, Crestline went into the half with a 26 to 18 lead over Mohawk, however the Bulldogs could not hold onto the momentum for the game.
The Warriors outscored the Bulldogs 28 to 11 in the third quarter on their way to a 68 to 62 victory.

Nate Coffman led the Bulldogs with 22 points and Lodi Cooke added 18 points to the effort.

With the loss Crestline drops to 1 and 17 overall and 1 and 14 in N-10 play.

The Warriors, who improved to 2 and 17 on the season and 2 and 14 in the league, were led by Juston Morter’s 22 points. Brayden Dunlap scored 17 points, and Gunnar Johnson contributed 15 points to the Mohawk win.

In other action around the N-10 Carey defeated Seneca East 81 to 38.
