Looking to pick up their fifth win of the season, the Colonel Crawford Eagles hosted the Bucyrus Redmen Friday night. While the Redmen kept it close early, on the Eagles flew away with the victory.

Taking a 15-10 lead after the first, the Eagles then took a nine point lead at the half to go up 32-23. Colonel Crawford outpaced Bucyrus 36-22 in the second half on their way to a 68-40 win.

Colonel Crawford, who advances to 5-2 on the season and 4-1 in league play, featured three players scoring in double digits. Brody Martin led the way with a game high 20 points, including four three pointers. Cam McCreary added 16 points and seven assists, and Heath Starkey contributed 12 points and nine boards.

The Eagles will next play the Plymouth Big Red Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Kade Slagle led Bucyrus scorers with 10 points, while Clinton Carr contributed eight points and eight rebounds. Bucyrus falls to 1-5 on the season and 1-3 in the N10.

Bucyrus will travel to Riverdale on Dec. 27 for their next contest.

Buckeye Central defeated Ridgedale 67-44 to pick up their third win of the season.

Four Bucks made double digits with Jacob Shade scoring a game high 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Dalton Sheaffer added 14 points, and Max Loy and Kyle Sanderson contributed points each.

Nick Hunley led Ridgedale with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Preston Burton added another 10 points to Ridgedale’s cause.

In other action around the N10 Wynford defeated Mohawk 47-38, and Upper Sandusky forced 29 turnovers on their way to a 84-56 victory over Seneca East.
