Last night’s Division IV district volleyball tournament at Willard High School went five games with St. Paul defeating Buckeye Central 3 – 2.
Buckeye Central won the first game 25-21, with St. Paul taking game two 25-14. The Buckettes won the third 25-21, but St. Paul again tied the match with a game four 25-20 victory. The deciding fifth game was won by the Lady Flyers 15-12 to advance them to Thursday’s district championship match.
Buckeye Central’s season ends with a record of 18-5.
St. Paul will play Monroeville, who defeated St. Mary’s in 3 games 25-8, 25-8, 25-9, for the championship Thursday night at 6:30 at Willard High School.
