The Buckeye Central boys and girls golf team took on Wynford Wednesday at Cranberry Hills Golf Course for their final matches of the regular season. Both teams defeated the Royals with scores of 167 – 206 for the boys and 205 – 254 for the girls.

The Bucks’ Tanner Zaebst once again medaled, shooting a 38 on his home course.

Individual scores from the Buckeye Central and Wynford boys teams are as follows:

The boys team finished their season 8 – 3 (5 – 3). Sectional tournaments begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Valley View Golf Course.

In the girls’ match, Buckeye Central’s Megan McGinnis was match medalist with a 47, followed by Lydia Shealy with 50 and Willa Obringer with 52. Alli Biglin, Ashlee Stander, and Lexi Biglin all fired 56’s at the match.

Low for Wynford was Gretchen Harris with a 57.

The Buckettes finished their season with a record of 14 – 6.
