Ted W. Lippert, 83, of Galion passed away Wednesday morning, December 12, 2018 at Shelby Pointe.
He was born August 26, 1935 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania and was the son of Theodore W., Sr. and Louise (Otte) Lippert. On November 22, 1958 he married Margaret A. (Brown) Lippert and she preceded him in death on August 24, 2005.
Ted proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked for PPG.
He was a life member of the AMVETS Polk Township Post 1979, American Legion Scarbrough Post 243 and Trackside all of Galion and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4329. Ted enjoyed playing cards and riding his scooter all over Galion.
Ted is survived by sons Jeffrey (Vicky) Lippert and Scott Lippert all of Galion; five grandchildren Amanda Kay, Amanda Jo, Stephanie, Andrea and Jimmy; eight great-grandchildren Xsavier, Logan, Colton, Eddie, Cayson, Bayli, Taelyn and Justice and two sisters Joyce (Jim) Isenberg of Galion and Diana (Bob) Eckman of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother Patrick Lippert.
Following his wishes, there will be no formal service.
