Mary E. Humphrey age 93, died Feb. 27, 2023 at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Nov. 16, 1929 in Hardin Co. to the late Harry and Juanita (Waxler) Green. She married Vernon Humphrey on June 16, 1948, he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1998.
Surviving are her children Anita (Robert) Spence, Findlay, LuAnn (David) Lessig, Kirby, Brent Humphrey, Upper Sandusky, a son-in-law Ed Kauble, Wharton, grandchildren Robert (Steph) Spence III, Keith (Missy) Kauble, Andrea (Dan) Caskey, Jeremy (Carrie) Kauble, Eric Lessig, Lindsay (Todd) Hall, Sarah (Tom) Smith, Rachel Humphrey, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a brother Jerry Green. She is preceded in death by a daughter Teresa Kauble, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Mrs. Humphrey was graduate of Forest High School. She was homemaker and babysat for many years. She enjoyed gardening and canning.
A funeral service will be held Fri. Mar. 3, 2023 at 10:30AM in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Interment will be in Hueston Cemetery, Forest. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00PM Thurs. Mar. 2, 2023, and an hour before the funeral service on Friday at the funeral home.
