Marlene Rose, age 68, went to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by family October 22, 2021. Marlene was born to the late Joe Denver “Dennis” Cains and Nancy Elizabeth (Damron) Cains in Grayson Kentucky December 29, 1952. Marlene married May 23, 1969, to Russell William Rose Sr. Marlene is preceded in death by parents, sons, Russell William Rose Jr. and Jeremey D. Rose.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 52 years, Russell Rose Sr.; children, Monica Ruth Rose (Andrew) Kissling and Russell William Rose III; brother, Lester Dale Cains; sisters, Theresa (Patrick) Brown and Dottie Cains; grandchildren, Cody Kissling, Brittany Rose, Briona Rose, Isabella Rose, Kdee Brooks, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Keagan and Ryder.
Marlene is a member of the Bucyrus Nazarene Church. She worked for 15+ years at Swan Rubber here in Bucyrus. Marlene enjoyed sewing and quilting. She especially loved spending time with her family and watching softball. Family was one of the most important things to her. She used to help run Relay for Life events and was always the light of the room. She will be deeply missed.
Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 2 PM-4 PM and 6 PM-8 PM Tuesday, October 26. Services will be Wednesday at 1 PM at Munz-Pirnstill. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at munzpirnstill.com
