Donna R. (Hout) Yetter, 84, of Crestline, died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Brethren Care Nursing Center, Ashland, after a brief illness.
Donna was born in Galion, on September 8, 1934 to the late Bernard R. and Mildred E. (Smith) Hout. She married Jack Ellis Yetter on February 29, 1980 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2007.
Donna lived in the Crestline area most of her life. She was employed by Kobacker’s Dept. Store, Therma Disc, and Duke’s Bar, all of Mansfield. Donna was a life-time member of VFW Post 2920, Crestline. She enjoyed country music, sitting in the sun, and going to garage sales. Donna was baptized before her death.
She is survived by her step-children; Carolyn (Bob) Sayre, Ontario, Teresa Teynor, Crestline, Jack Yetter, Missouri, Harold Yetter, North Carolina, Mary (Jim) Stroup, Crestline, daughter-in-law, Rose Eberts, Mansfield, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, her aunt, Lois Yoha, Ontario, step sister, Debbie D’Emilio Pasheilich (Jim), Mansfield, sister-in-law, Mary Lakey, Idaho, and her brother-in-law, Jim (Vicky) Yetter, Crestline.
She was preceded in death by her four children, infant daughter, Deborah Eberts, Jack Eberts, Sheryl (Eberts) Bays, and Larry Eberts, her sister, Mary Louise Crawford, and her step mother, Betty Hout.
Friends may call Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
