COLUMBUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Levi Hartschuh, vice president of the Wynford Local Schools Board of Education, has been named the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 2027 president-elect nominee.
Hartschuh, who represents OSBA’s Central Region, previously served as Central Region president in 2025.
The Delegate Assembly will vote on the nomination during the 2026 OSBA Capital Conference and Trade Show in Columbus in November. If elected, Hartschuh will serve as OSBA president-elect in 2027 and president in 2028.
“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve Ohio’s public school board members,” Hartschuh said. “These are important and challenging times for public education, and I look forward to working alongside our members to ensure OSBA continues to be the leading voice for public education in Ohio.”
Hartschuh has served on the Wynford Local Schools Board of Education in Crawford County since 2022. In addition to his leadership at the local level, he serves on OSBA’s Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. He is also active in the Crawford County community, serving on the Crawford County Fair Board and the Wynford for Kids committee.
A graduate of Wilmington College, Hartschuh served as student body president, student athletic advisory council president and received multiple leadership honors during his time there.
Founded in 1955, OSBA leads the way as the respected voice of Ohio public education.
