BUCYRUS — The Wynford Board of Education had its August meeting Thursday evening.
The board discussed the plans for the district’s new building, that includes a new 94-foot long gym.
Wynford Superintendent Fred Fox said he discussed designs with Willard’s superintendent, as they are using the same building company. As of now, he said the plans are mostly done. They want the building to be more suitable to the 21st century, compared to how buildings have been done before.
Wynford Local Schools also hired a new elementary school secretary, Erin Fishpaw. The board expressed their excitement in getting to work with her, and she said she was very happy to have the opportunity.
School begins for the Royals on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
