Vote totals for write-in candidates in Tuesday’s elections were provided by the Crawford County Board of Elections which means that winners for two local village council seats can be declared.
In Crestline, Stacey Jo Wampler received 177 votes to 136 for Eugene Toy. Wampler will fill the fourth seat on the Crestline Village Council. The other three open seats went to Aaron Buckner, Clayton Herold and Kevin Taylor.
Likewise, the final seat in New Washington was won by Brian Agin who picked up 69 votes on Tuesday, compared to Roger Throckmorton’s 13. Joining Agin on the New Washington Village Council were Gertrude Durnwald, Paul Forster and Geraldine Lucious who all won re-election.
