GALION—Crawford County Now has obtained new documents from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency indicating the EPA’s rejection of the proposed plan for corrective action. Crawford County Now reached out to the Mayor’s Office for comment and received this response from Mayor O’ Leary:

“We were surprised by the receipt of today’s email from the Ohio EPA. We can assure our customers that the samples were taken during the specified timeframe, and we are trying to verify why they were not properly submitted to the EPA.”
