The United Way of Crawford County is seeking some help to make sure all Crawford County kids are ready to go back to school. United Way, in partnership with Ohio Mutual Insurance Group and FC Bank in Bucyrus, is doing a Stuff the Bus event From Aug. 3 through 7.
They will be collecting school supplies donated by the public which will then be distributed to area kids in need.
Drop-off points are the Bucyrus Public Library, Crestline Public Library, both FC Bank locations in Bucyrus, the Galion Public Library and The Herald in New Washington. The Bucyrus Public Library will waive $1 in fines for each school supply brought in, but items such as pens and pencils must be in packages and not individual items
Items needed are: pencils (#2), antibacterial wipes, backpacks, blue and black pens, clothing pins, colored pencils construction paper, erasers, flash cards, glue sticks, Hi-liters, ice trays, large buttons large dominoes, non-toxic paint, paper plates, paper towels, pencil boxes, pipe cleaners, pointed scissors, soft letters and numbers, spiral notebooks, tissues, trappers, wide-ruled paper, wooden rulers, and yarn.
