Two women set to face off in Mansfield Mayor’s race

MANSFIELD—For the first time since Lydia Reid became the first female Mayor of Mansfield, two women will face off for the position in November.

Republican Jodie Perry took her party’s nomination with 56% of the vote.

Her opponent, Democrat Sherry Vaught, ran unopposed in her party.
Other issues decided included the Mansfield Richland County Public Library whose renewal levy passed easily.

Both Mifflin and Jefferson Township Tax issues passed.

The Madison School District’s additional levy was defeated.

Precinct 1F will allow Sunday liquor sales at the Cracker Barrel.
