Two men returned to the Crawford County Common Pleas Courtroom on Tuesday morning as a result of allegations they violated conditions of their community control. Both men left headed to prison after being sentenced to the maximum time allowable.

Twenty-year-old Christian Jackson of Galion admitted to allegations made by probation officer Mark Alspach. Jackson conceded he had changed addresses without informing Alspach as required, failed to report to mandatory meetings and tested positive for opiates.
In February of 2016 Jackson was convicted of two felony 4 offenses – receiving stolen property and safe-cracking. Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Jackson to consecutive 18-month prison terms for a total of 36 months.
However, the judge left open the possibility of Jackson being freed early.
“Behave yourself in prison and maybe after a year or so I’ll consider giving you another chance,” Leuthold told Jackson.

Thirty-eight-year-old Adam Drew of Bucyrus admitted to allegations by probation officer Eric Bohach that he had threatened to burn the house down of the victim of domestic violence for which Drew was convicted of last September.
Drew was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in prison on the original domestic violence conviction. However, Assistant Prosecutor Ryan Hoovler agreed not to pursue further charges against Drew stemming from that act or other conversations between Drew and the victim while Drew was incarcerated in the Crawford County jail and was under a no contact order. That no contact order has been lifted as part of the plea agreement.
