A driver and his passenger were both injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Baker Road in Vernon Township.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reports that 44-year-old Dana Ingram of Shelby was operating a vehicle traveling west on Miller Road that turned south onto Baker Road into the path of a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Robert Whyel of Crestline. Both Whyel and his passenger, 22-year-old Ashley Parsons of Crestline, were injured in the collision and taken to the Shelby hospital for treatment.
In addition to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, LifeStar Ambulance and Tiro-Auburn Fire Department personnel were at the scene.
