A long-time staple of the First Federal Bank of Ohio retired after 44 years of service. Tom Moore, CEO and president of First Federal Bank of Ohio, retired on Jan. 3.

Moore, who started at First Federal as a loan officer, helped the bank rise through the years. During that time, First Federal expanded from a single office to branches in eight towns and increased its assets from 24 million to 250 million.

Moore became president and CEO in 1995 after the retirement of Russell Vose. He currently serves as chairman of the First Federal Bank of Ohio Board of Directors.
