Tax rates on tap for Tuesday night meetings

The Bucyrus City Finance Committee will be meeting prior to City Council Tuesday night to discuss appropriations.

The special Finance meeting, which has been called by Bill O’Rourke, Steve Pifer, and Monica Sack, will start at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Topics of discussion will include an appropriation in Sewage Disposal/Sewage Disposal Operations and Maintenance/Capital Outlay for the Waste Water Treatment Plant Blower and the Crawford County Budget Commission 2016 Tax Rates.

The Bucyrus City Council will meet at 7 p.m. for a regular agenda and consider legislation for various appropriations, Ohio Public Works Commission grants for 2016, and the 2016 tax rates.
