A shoplifting incident at the Bucyrus CVS store is currently under investigation. An unknown male had fled the store on a bicycle at 4:46 p.m. on Friday after having absconded with two containers of cologne. The Bucyrus police report that the male was described at approximately 6’1” tall, with a thin build, red hair, and facial hair. He was dressed in a dark jacket and jeans at the time.
Bucyrus police arrested sixty-seven-year-old Susan Wells and fifty-four-year-old Terry Beckham at their residence Saturday evening. The couple was charged with domestic violence and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.
Galion police were kept busy last week by stacking up fourteen arrests. The week of arrests started off with officers arresting twenty-four-year-old Ethan C. Seitz Monday evening for OVI and criminal damaging and ended with twenty-one-year-old Kyle Bradley Sparks being arrested for failure to appear on Sunday.
Other arrests during the week included twenty-nine-year-old Stacy Kay Smith of Crestline (theft); forty-seven-year-old Ernest L. Black Jr. (criminal mischief); fifty-year-old Sherry L. Stevens (theft); forty-eight-year-old Christine V. Dotson of Cuyahoga Falls; twenty-nine-year-old Echo B. Smith (OVI, failure to signal); thirty-four-year-old Micah J. Jones; thirty-three-year-old Barbara J. Hunt; twenty-nine-year-old Shannon N. Bush of Mt. Vernon; forty-seven-year-old Scott Anthony Jackson; twenty-eight-year-old Justin M. Stevens of Mansfield; and thirty-year-old Robyn M. Digman.
