The Bucyrus High School Players and Colonel Crawford Vision show choirs have joined forces to host a barbeque pork dinner fundraiser prior to the varsity football game between the Redmen and Eagles Sept. 26. The dinner will served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Colonel Crawford Middle School gymnasium.

The dinner menu will include a barbeque pork sandwich, sides, a dessert and a beverage. Carryout is available for those wishing to enjoy their meal elsewhere.

“We have many expenses every year, including those for costumes and competitions, for our show choir,” Bucyrus Director of Choirs Nickie French said. “We believe this is a wonderful opportunity for our groups (Bucyrus and Colonel Crawford) to work together to provide an outstanding meal for our communities, and for the communities to support the students’ musical endeavors.”

Dinner tickets are $7 each for an adult, and $4 each for a child. The proceeds are going directly to the show choir and student from which tickets are purchased.

“I am very proud of Mrs. French and our show choir for working together with our neighboring district for this joint fundraiser,” Bucyrus Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. “I hope that all members of the community will join me in a fantastic meal to support the performing arts program in both districts.”

Contact any Bucyrus Players member to purchase tickets. Please contact Mrs. French at 419-562-7721 or email nfrench@bucyrusschools.org for more information or to purchase tickets.
