Not even village property has been immune from a rash of recent break-ins in Crestline.
Steve Heiby who heads the Crestline Street Department reported that the department’s building on West Bucyrus Street had been broken into and copper pipe stolen. Heiby said about 100 feet of copper pipe valued at $300 is missing. Police have not made any arrests related to that case.
