Police in both Bucyrus and Galion are investigating armed robberies in their communities that occurred Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Bucyrus police received a report of an armed robbery at 6:30 Tuesday evening at the Clark gas station and convenience store located at the intersection of Marion Road and West Southern Avenue. The man police are looking for was wearing a purple hooded jacket or sweatshirt and black windbreaker pants. He was described as thin, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall with dark hair, scruffy facial hair and in his early 20s.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the individual to contact the police department at 419-562-1006, or on the tip line at 419-834-2023.
Galion police responded to a call at about 8:30 Monday evening.
The victim told police they had been robbed at gunpoint and described the individual as being 5-feet-7-inches and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
There were no injuries reported in either incident or an indication of what was taken.
