Two people were arraigned on felony charges Tuesday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court and a thirde was placed on the intervention program.

Forty-one-year-old Jason Surgener of Bucyrus asked for and was granted placement on the intervention in lieu of conviction program. Surgener entered a guilty plea to felony 5 drug possession and will be on the intervention program for two years.

Emma Schultz entered a not guilty plea to a charge of felony 5 theft from the elderly or disabled. Judge Russell Wiseman set bond at $5,000 for Schultz.

Wyandot County resident Amanda Thiel pleaded not guilty to felony 5 drug possession. Thiel is accused of having oxycodone. Brian Gernert was appointed to represent Thiel who has been sentenced to prison on an unrelated charge in Wyandot County.
