RICHLAND COUNTY—The Mansfield Post responded to a single-vehicle crash on US 30 at US 42 Thursday morning at 4:11 AM.
Troopers located the vehicle on its top in the northbound lanes of US 42, with a single occupant trapped inside. The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Antonio Juan La’ Shawn L. Cleveland of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
The preliminary investigation shows the driver was traveling east on US 30, approaching the overpass for US 42. The driver drove off the left side of the road, vaulted onto the southbound lanes of US 42, struck the concrete lane divider, and overturned into the northbound lanes of US 42, where it came to final rest. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Madison Township Fire/EMS, and Richland County Coroner’s Office assisted on the scene.
