COLUMBUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio State Fair is celebrating NBC4 Family Discount Day today, July 29, offering a day full of activities, entertainment, food, and rides that the whole family will love.
NBC4 Family Discount Day
Starting at 10 a.m., adults will be admitted for the kids’ admission price of $10, and kids 12 and under will be admitted free all day long. Until 5 p.m., ride-all-day wristbands can be purchased for just $19. All riders are required to have a wristband or credits to ride.
Family Fun
The fairgrounds are filled with a wide variety of family-friendly attractions. The Lausche Youth Exploration Space offers exhibits, hands-on activities, and endless fun in Tiny Town, the Healthy Initiatives Hub, COSI, Battelle, Boy and Girl Scouts, Phun with Physics, 4-H, and other organizations.
Travel down the WNCI Food Highway to find Little Farmers, OVMA Animal Care Center, Natural Resources Park, the free petting zoo, Kiddieland, multiple entertainment stages, and much more!
50-Year Club Meeting
Did you attend the Ohio State Fair in 1974 or earlier? If so, you’re a member of the 50-Year Club! Join fellow members in the Rhodes Center Auditorium at 10 a.m. for an informative business meeting, the awarding of the Giant Step Award, and short concerts by the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir and Band. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Entertainment
The fair offers a variety of entertainment options, including Nerveless Nocks, Wildlife K-9s for Conservation, Great Lakes Timber Show, Marvelous Mutts, The Farmer’s Daughter Show, Pig Races, Major League Circus Show, David Anthony, Hilarious Hypnosis, Louie Foxx, and various strolling entertainers throughout the grounds of the Ohio State Fair. Ohio State Fair Concert Series: Singer Lauren Daigle will take the WCOL Celeste Center stage 7:00PM.
Free Live Music
AW Duo, Kazual, and Will Freed will be performing live at the fair. AW Duo, part of the neo-funk band MojoFlo, will perform at the Taste of Ohio Pavilion & Beer Garden from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kazual, a family band of three brothers and a cousin, will perform at Main Street Stage presented by Ohio Lottery at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Will Freed, a versatile and award-winning singer-songwriter, will be performing on the Wellcare Gazebo Stage at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Livestock Shows
Don’t miss the Open Corriedale, Merino competition at 9 a.m. in the Brown Sheep Building. Root for your favorite animal and junior exhibitor!
