BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— Past and present employees of Ohio Mutual Insurance Group gathered to celebrate the company’s annual Associate Appreciation Day and its 125th anniversary.
Attendees enjoyed a picnic lunch before hearing from President and CEO Mark C. Russell.
“We have been in business for 125 years, and since 1915, our home office has been in Bucyrus, Ohio. We’ve been a big part of the community, and the community has been a big part of us. We’re just celebrating that accomplishment,” Russell said.
Former President and CEO Jim Kennedy, who led the company from 2003 to 2015, also attended and spoke during the celebration.
“It’s just so much fun to watch the organization continue to grow and prosper and do things that I could have never done. What Mark has done with the company makes me proud. I’m full of pride today,” Kennedy said.
During its 125-year history, Ohio Mutual has reached many milestones and continues to grow.
