NEWS RELEASE:
In accordance with Shelby Police Department Policy, and with the assistance of the Mansfield Police Department, a preliminary internal review of the incident of 2-26-18 near Tiro, Ohio has been completed. As a result of that administrative review, both officers involved in the incident have been returned to on-duty status, effective immediately. Because BCI is continuing their investigation into the incident, the officer’s names will not be released in order to maintain the integrity of BCI’s active investigation.
