The Ohio Department of Transportation announced upcoming and continuing projects in Crawford County.
Starting Monday, Ohio 598 will be closed for a culvert replacement. The closure will occur just north of Ohio 39. The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 598 north to Ohio 39, west on Ohio 39 to Ohio 98, northeast on Ohio 98 to Ohio 598, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen June 9, 2017.
Ohio 39, from Tiro Road to the Richland County line, will have potential lane closures as needed for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by periodic flagging operations. The project is expected to be complete in June 2017.
Ohio 96, from Ohio 602 to the Richland County line, will have two lanes of traffic in each direction for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by periodic flagging operations. The project is expected to be complete in October 2017.
Intermittent lane closures will continue for north and southbound motorists on Ohio 19 between Rettic Road and the city of Galion. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as needed. The culvert rehabilitation project is expected to be completed June 2017.
