BUCYRUS—Less than one week since his bond was revoked and raised to 1.5 million dollars. Chad Myers is free once again.
Myers, 37, formerly of Galion but now residing in Mt. Gilead, was taken back into custody last Tuesday after a motion was made by prosecutors to hold Myers without bond. Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold denied that motion but raised Myers’ bond by $950,000.
Myers is charged with 66 counts of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor, each a second-degree felony punishable with up to 11 years in prison on each count and 36 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, each a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison on each count.
Myers is currently on electronic monitoring as part of his bond conditions.
Crawford County Now will continue to cover this developing story.
