Monday was not the best of nights for a Bucyrus man. Unfortunately his lack of judgment also caught up to a friend as well.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Massey was stopped by Bucyrus police at 4:54 p.m. at the intersection of Hopley and Whetstone streets and given a citation for driving under suspension. Two hours later at 6:53 p.m., Massey was again stopped and cited by Bucyrus police for driving under suspension, this time in the 900 block of Wingert Street.
At that time Massey was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also gave 23-year-old Carissa Diebler a citation for wrongful entrustment for allowing Massey to drive her vehicle while his license was suspended.
