BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Galion man was acquitted of two felony charges on Tuesday following a jury trial in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
Mark Hagopian, 51, had been held in custody since March on a $200,000 bond. He faced charges of failure to comply, a third-degree felony, and obstruction, a fifth-degree felony.
The jury returned a not-guilty verdict on the felony counts but found Hagopian guilty of the lesser charge of misdemeanor fleeing. Following the verdict, Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Hagopian to time served.
Hagopian was represented throughout the proceedings by Bucyrus attorney Brad Starkey.
