GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion Public Library has announced a series of themed activities and new book displays for December, alongside a notification regarding special holiday hours.
The library, located in Crawford County, is celebrating the season with a “Grinchmas” makeover throughout December, following its participation in the “Come Home to Galion Holiday Open House” on Dec. 6.
Four main displays at the library entrance have received a Grinch-themed overhaul, and patrons who complete associated activities can earn prizes from the new Adult Services Treasure Chest.
Beyond the main entrance, the library’s book and item displays will also be refreshed. A display focused on crafting will be featured under the theme “Craft Up a Cozy Christmas.” In a nod to a national observance, a display showcasing materials about the Bill of Rights will be set up near the DVDs to promote Bill of Rights Day on Dec. 15.
