Galion City Council will have a regular meeting Tuesday evening and the purchase of two trucks will be among legislative items on the agenda.

Council members will give a first reading and vote on ordinances authorizing the purchase of a digger truck and a bucket truck. The legislation for the digger derrick truck would allow the city to purchase the truck for more than $209,000 from Dueco while the bucket truck comes with a price tag of $110,500 from Utility Truck Equipment.

Both trucks are for the city’s Utility Department.

Council members will also vote on legislation regarding updates to the city’s codified ordinances, an audit extension agreement, appropriations and meter bases.
