Galion City Council members will vote on eight pieces of legislation during Tuesday’s meeting, one of which could lower a city utility bill.
None of the eight items on the legislative agenda will have a third reading or be voted on in emergency status. However one of the items to be considered on a first reading will be for a reduction in sewer rates.
Some of the items up for a second reading include an amendment to the city’s financial recovery plan, the establishment of a Freese Advisory Board and the detachment of over 177 acres the city had previously annexed.
Galion’s City Council meeting is at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening in the Municipal Building.
