Four new members of the Crestline Village Council are ready and raring to go once the New Year gets here.
Ryan Mahek, Kevin Taylor, Stacy Wampler and Aaron Buckner were sworn in by Village Law Director Harry Welsh on Saturday morning. They will join incumbents Mike Blaising and Clayton Herold to compose the next Crestline Village Council.
Wampler shares her thoughts about accepting a role in local government after taking the oath of office.
“I am very excited to be serving the Village of Crestline community and I am excited to get started,” Wampler said.
The new council members met with other city officials to discuss specific duties, the Ohio Revised Code as it impacts local government, the budget and Sunshine Laws.
