MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Downtown Mansfield’s Main Street corridor has added a major new event destination following a multi-year restoration project.
The Roseto Event Venue, owned and operated by Shereen Tamsen, has officially opened its doors after five years of extensive interior and exterior renovations. Located directly across from the DLX building on Main Street, the revitalized historic building now serves as a flexible event space capable of hosting up to 300 guests.
Tamsen says the venue, which soft-launched late last year, is designed to accommodate a wide variety of gatherings—from intimate 50-person baby showers and small family celebrations to large-scale wedding receptions, corporate functions, and community line-dancing events.
“It’s really a flexible space,” Tamsen said. “Most of my events have been about 150 people, and I’ve even had 50 people, and it doesn’t seem empty. You can lay out the tables in a way that it still feels like a good fit for a smaller event, but it can take up to 300 people.”
The venue sits directly adjacent to ongoing Main Street beautification and plaza construction, which will feature a newly updated public fountain and designated drop-off loading zones right outside the main entrance. Tamsen noted that guests also have access to convenient street parking, public lots, and overflow parking at the nearby Mansfield/Richland County Public Library on Walnut Street.
With its central Richland County location, the space aims to draw clients from Mansfield and surrounding areas, including Crawford County.
Tamsen offers public tours for community members who remember the building’s previous iteration and want to see the transformation firsthand.
