UPPER SANDUSKY—A Wyandot County dental practice committed to putting families first is prepping for its move to a new location in town.

Fay Family Dental Care, 135 N. Sandusky Avenue, is moving Aug. 15 to a larger building at 103 Houpt Drive near Wyandot Memorial Hospital, according to owner Dr. Morgan Fay, D.D.S.

“We’re looking forward to the big move,” said Dr. Fay, who took over the practice from Dr. Stephen Hoover, D.D.S. three years ago.  “We’re just excited to be able to help everybody in the community.”

The new building, she said, will offer significantly more space for patients and staff – eight hygiene rooms instead of four.  A third dental hygienist, Liza Clay, has also been hired.  “We’re excited to have her join the team,” she said.

Dr. Fay, who graduated from Riverdale High School, went on to Bowling Green State University where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2014.  She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2019.

Fay Family Dental, she said, provides a variety of preventative and restorative dental procedures, including root canals, cleanings, implants, and fillings, for both children and adults.  Additional pediatric dental services are also available.

“We do pretty much a lot of what’s needed so we can offer just about everything,” Dr. Fay said.  “We strive for all patients to leave their appointments happy and with a healthy smile.”

The practice, which also draws patients from nearby Crawford and Marion counties, will offer nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” at its Houpt Drive location, she said.  For the convenience of clients, office hours will be expanded after Labor Day.

Starting Sept. 5, the business will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 12 noon to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
