“Literary Elements”, the Adult Summer Reading program at the Crestline Public Library continues with the following programs:
July 22, 6:30pm-“Green Cleaning” presented by chemistry and physics teacher Pat Hargis. Pat will explain methods of cleaning without using harsh and environmentally unsafe chemicals.
July 24, 6:30pm-Biology and genetics teacher, Norm Huber, presents a program on basic genetics. Norm will explain why a person has blue eyes versus brown, why hair is the color it is and other factors concerning why people look the way they do.
July 26, 10am- Meteorologist Steven Glauer, will present a program on weather forecasting.
July 28, 6pm- Carolyn Helbert and Nancy Everly are “Upcycling”. Participants will create an upcycled craft and view many ideas for turning old items into something new!
July 31, 6pm- Rockologist Pam Lauer will present her many types of rocks and gems and jewelry she has made from them.
