In the midst of a very long, cold, snowy winter the Crestline Village Council got to focus on America’s summer pastime Monday night.

Council members approved contracts to design Roundhouse Park and the Patterson Street Sanitary sewer Project. Village Administrator Marc Milliron explains.

“We’ve got a lot of grant money. I think we have close to $75,000.00 in grant money plus we have some anticipated local funds coming in for the new part softball park complex coming in. So that will let us get going on that, this is just for hiring engineering firm,” Milliron said. “ Then the Patterson Street Sanitary Sewage Project involving Bibich Court, that also allows me to hire engineering firm to come in.”

The village isn’t done with grants. Council will also apply for grants from ODOT for the North Henry Street Sidewalk Project.

The Village is also accepting donations for the Harvest Festival that has a balance of $1300.00 so far with McDonalds giving their donation Monday.

The meeting broke into executive session to discuss new employment and funds.
