NEWS RELEASE:
On September 24, 2017 at 6:32PM Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a jet ski crash on a farm pond in Tod Township of Crawford County, Ohio.
Members of the Wyandot East Volunteer Fire Department and Life Support Ambulance Service were also dispatched as well and it was reported that an eighteen-year-old female on a 1991 Yamaha jet ski was struck by another 1991 Yamaha jet ski.
The female was transported to the Bucyrus Community Hospital where she was pronounced deceased and her name is being withheld until the next of kin are notified.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was contacted and will be assisting in the investigation.
