BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus members of the Crawford County Central Committee have announced they will hold a meeting to appoint an individual to fill the vacancy for the President of the Bucyrus City Council. The appointed official will serve the remainder of the current term, which runs through December 31, 2027.
The committee is scheduled to meet on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. The session will take place at the Masonic Lodge, located at 1224 S. Sandusky Avenue in Bucyrus.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their resumes and a summary of their qualifications for consideration. Submissions should be mailed to the Crawford County Republican Central Committee (CCRCC) at P.O. Box 1074, Bucyrus, OH 44820. To be eligible for consideration, all applications must be postmarked on or before August 20, 2026.
