Monday’s Colonel Crawford school board meeting was one of mixed emotions. On one hand board members were recognized during School Board Appreciation Month. On the other hand, one of the board members submitted his resignation.
Superintendent Todd Martin discusses his relationship with the board. “We are very blessed here at Colonel Crawford as I said in the meeting, we have a group of Board members here that there is no personal agenda, there’s nothing hidden. They come to these meetings and they immerse themselves in what’s going on and they make decisions on what’s best for kids.”
Mike Willacker’s resignation from the board was accepted with regret. Willacker had served on the board for six years. The board also approved a list of coaches for spring sports.
Those coaches are: James Glauer, assistant baseball; Greg Flannigan, assistant baseball; Carl Diebler, assistant softball; Sarah Gray, assistant softball; Ryan Noblet assistant junior high track; Stephanie Geiger, assistant junior high track; Brett DeGray, boys track assistant; Rick Keller, track assistant; Brad Ruffener, track assistant; Ryan Teglovic, spring weight room.
