WYANDOT COUNTY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On April 30, 2026, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, executed a residential search warrant at 16409 County Highway 86 in Forest, Ohio. This action followed a tip received from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, launching an investigation into allegations of possession and dissemination of child pornography.
During the search, authorities apprehended 21-year-old Clayton D. Hare, who has been identified as the subject of the investigation. Several electronic devices were taken from the residence as evidence for the ongoing inquiry.
Following his arrest, Hare was transported to the Wyandot County Jail, where he is currently held pending formal charges for pandering obscenity involving a minor.
The investigation is still active, and further charges related to child pornography may be brought forth after review by Wyandot County Prosecutor Frie Figlewitz.
